Juvenile prisoners in Malawi are now able to learn new artistic skills and express themselves through music drama and poetry, courtesy of Music Crossroads Malawi and Young People in Prison (YIP).

Music Crossroads Malawi conducted its first Local Festival in Mzuzu, in the Northern Region of Malawi on 22nd November 2009.

Promoting socially relevant films, and peace through movies is the aim of the ION Film Festival. Next month, this international showcase will take place in Africa for the first time.
