The French Cultural Center in Lilongwe hosted a Classical, Jazz & World music workshop on the 3rd of October 2009.

At the workshops which many questions were asked on how one can be come a professional artist, caring of instruments, challenges in music industry internationally & locally and how can artists travel to perform abroad and locally. The workshop took place at Rift Valley Jazz Cafe in Lilongwe.

At the end of the workshop was a jam session into which traditional instruments & modern instruments from Malawi, France, India, Zimbabwe & Australia were fused and a song " tisakanize kuimba" Lets mix the rhythms was arranged.
