The usually quiet, Budiriro Youth Training Centre, where the new Music Crossroads Zimbabwe Academy is housed, in the southern suburbs of Harare, has come alive last week, as the new students thronged the venue. The academy opened its doors for an orientation week, introducing its first intake of 30 students

As we get in the year 2013, Music Crossroads Zimbabwe reflects on the effort undertaken throughout 2012 - headlined by the preparations for the opening of the awaited Music Academy scheduled for March this year.

Preparations for the commencement of classes for the Music Crossroads Zimbabwe Academy are at an advanced stage. All stakeholders are fervently waiting for the project to kick off. A total of twelve teachers have successfully undergone through a three week intensive training via a series of workshops that were facilitated by Dee Jay Foster
