Tudulos and Nandov will represent Mozambique at the IRF

Tudulos from Zambezi and Nandov from Maputo City will represent Mozambique at the Interregional Festival Music Crossroads, in Tanzania between the 15th of Julyand the 19th of July.

Both bands were chosen because of their spectacular performances, where Tudulos convinced the jury with their electrifying dance moves, their unusual clothes and music inspired from Nyambalo, Ibondo, Calutho and Usse. Nandov made it through because of their musical quality, mixing traditional Mozambican music with Jazz besides the amazing vocal quality.

The following bands participated in the Festival;Nandov from Maputo City, Mbuzini from Gaza, Imargod, Siavuma and Ethukhetu from Inhambane, Ussunjifrom Sofala, Cassupe Djazz Band from Tete and Tudulos and Gresses from Zambezi,this from the results of the provincial and zonal (North, Centre and South)phases, which participated more then 30 bands and about 200 musicians.

In Mozambique various bands already won this event, like: Kapadech, Djaaka, Timbila Muzimba and Mussodji. Others, like Nyacha, Nfithe and Xindire, toured through Europe,Asia and Latin America
