Started in 2008 at Music Crossroads Malawi
in Lilongwe. The band has seven members coming from throughout Malawi whose
individual music backgrounds and personalities have developed into an eclectic
mix of      R & B, Reggae, Funk and
Jazz which they call “AFRO-FUNK-INFUSION”.

These progressive young musicians write and
perform songs which cleverly incorporate positive messages about HIV/AIDS,
Spirituality, Relationships and other pressing social issues commonly faced by
young people in Malawi every day. Even when the African sun is at its
brightest, these rising stars can still be seen shining in the Malawi sky.
Things are heating up for the Konkalazi and they are not looking for any shade.

- Invited to perform at Malawi Music Project
by United States Peace Corps

- Perform multiple shows in Lilongwe,
Capital City of Malawi.

- Featured in, ‘In Tune For Life’s 2010
compilation album, “Titenge Udindo”
