Music Crossroad Malawi is proud to undertake the Music Education Project which will run for a year!

Music in Malawi is played by so many artists, most of them do not know how to read & write it. There are schools which offer such lessons in Malawi but few people can aford to go to such schools, most children have been also denied to this chance. Now then everyone who like music in Malawi has a reason to smile because the Music Education Project has been unveiled yesterday.

The project which was a dream will involve Primary school teachers from different schools in Malawi. Teachers will be equipped with skills to teach music at grassroots levels in their schools and start choirs. Vocational musicians will also benefit a lot because they will acquire knowledge which will help them improve a lot in their music carriers.

Three years have passed since the project had  been formulated by Jeunesses Musicales Sant Cugat in Barcelona and Music Crossroads Malawi.
