It was cloudy and cool with hot! hot! performances along!

The competition reached its peak in the City of Lilongwe with audience enjoying the music. The bands in central region battled on stage with their beautiful performances. There were alot of talents displayed until the results were announced. 

The Band which used to call itself The Unknowns imerged on the first position with their two traditional tracks which the audience enjoyed. The band which was born at Music Crossroads Trainning Centre in Lilongwe and now called Amaravi has girls who play instruments like keyboards and bass.

The Rebels band came next setting the audience into dancing and applause, the band did not give up after failing their way to Inter Regional Festival 2008. The Band was playing traditional music.
